GOOGLE LLC has been sanctioned by the Spanish Data Protection Agency(AEPD) with 10 million euros, according to File No.: PS/00140/2020 published on May 18, 2022.
This 137-page dossier sets out the facts and resolves to sanction Google for 2 breaches of the Data Protection Regulation:
First:
5 million penalty for transferring personal data to third parties without legitimacy, as provided for in Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). (GDPR).
Second:
Penalty of 5 million euros for not creating the appropriate conditions for the exercise of the right to erasure >>the right to be forgotten>> of the affected citizens, in breach of Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
