Sanction to Iberia<\/h2>\n

The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) imposes a penalty<\/a> of\"\"<\/a> 30,000 euros to Iberia because its cookie policy does not comply with the LSSI<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It all started with a complaint from a user, who argued that the website did not offer the option to reject them.<\/p>\n

This complaint occurred on 10\/23\/2019 therefore the Instruction published by the AEPD in 2019 was in force.<\/p>\n

New Cookies Instruction 2020<\/h3>\n

Let’s remember that there is currently a new Instruction on Cookies published by the AEPD<\/a>, derived from European guidelines, which all websites must apply by October 31, 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This is the only Instruction on cookies that has been given an effective date, so this date must be taken into account for all websites to be in perfect condition.<\/p>\n

We inform all our clients, that the Legal Department of Business Adapter sent to each client on August 7, 2020, a communication via email, with instructions to follow on their websites. <\/p>\n

Likewise, several communications have been sent through our newsletters, reminding us of this circumstance.<\/p>\n
