Cyberbullying Prevention Policy
Business Adapter® has developed a Cyberbullying Prevention Policy, on the occasion of the obligations that any organization with employees has in terms of Workplace Harassment, following the recommendations published by the AEPD in compliance with the powers attributed to it.
This Cyberbullying Prevention Policy includes a series of data protection measures that must be adopted to comply with these obligations, with particular emphasis on cyberbullying, as it has the greatest impact on the personal data of those affected.
What is Cyberbullying?
Those conducts: workplace harassment, sexual harassment, harassment based on sex, sexual orientation or gender identity and expression when these are carried out through digital media by recording, disseminating or publishing messages or images that affect the privacy or freedom of the victim in the workplace.
Content of this Policy
The Cyberbullying Policy that Business Adapter® has prepared for your organization has been sent to you by e-mail and is intended to address these recommendations, the content of which is as follows:
-Corporate commitment to prevent and eradicate digital harassment.
-Measures aimed at preventing cyberbullying.
-Measures aimed at eradicating cyberbullying.
-Safety measures to be applied in cases of workplace harassment.
The content of this policy will be integrated into the next update of your Security Policies (folder 06 of your Data Protection Dossier) and you can also integrate the content of this policy into your organization’s existing corporate records, procedures or policies.
How to communicate this policy to employees?
Regarding the way of communicating this Policy to all the people that make up your organization, it can be done by different means, but as long as the communication can be accredited. For example:
E-mailing (copy us in the corporate communication)
-Posting on the bulletin board for workers (send us a photo of your exhibition).
-Publish on internal platforms (send us a screenshot or record of your inclusion)
-Sign the Policy for each employee (send us a copy with the signatures) and leave a copy for each employee.
The evidence we request to accredit this compliance will be used as proof of facts in the event of a claim or request, as well as supporting documents for our audits.
