The Tik Tok application cannot be used on official devices as decided by the European Commission. The reported reason is to protect the Commission against cybersecurity actions and threats that could be exploited by third parties to carry out cyberattacks against the Commission’s corporate environment.
It is not a unique decision of the European Union, the CEO of the Chinese company will have to testify before the US Congress on March 25, 2023, where he will be asked for explanations about the large volume of data (mainly of young people) collected by APP, the security of these and the relationship with the Chinese communist party. 
The American government and some states have already banned the use of Tik Tok on official devices, out of concern that the Chinese government will pressure the owner of this application to pass on personal data of its users.
Suspicions surround Tik Tok, so it is not surprising that soon we will hear news of large corporations and companies in which the security of their information is vital, take this same measure.
